France-based Underdog is reengineering the household appliance industry through circularity—offering expertly reconditioned washing machines, fridges, and ovens at up to 50% off the price of new, delivered and installed across France, and backed by a 2-year warranty.

Founded in 2022 in Nantes, Underdog is building France’s first industrial-scale reconditioning platform for large appliances—where only 3% of discarded units are currently reused. With more than 10,000 appliances already sold and a growing team of 45, the startup is turning an environmental crisis into a high-growth industrial opportunity. By 2027, Underdog aims to operate four reconditioning facilities nationwide and process over 70,000 appliances per year, while training 200 specialized technicians across the country.
